Software & EFIN
Yes. An active EFIN (Electronic Filing Identification Number) is required to join TMB Tax Bureau as a software partner. The EFIN must be in good standing with the IRS and registered to you or your business entity.
If you do not yet have an EFIN, you can apply through IRS e-Services at irs.gov. The approval process typically takes 4–6 weeks so apply as early as possible — the IRS does not rush approvals. Do not wait until tax season to start this process.

TMB Tax Bureau offers partnerships on three professional tax software platforms — TaxSlayer Pro, OLT Pro, and TaxWise Pro. Each platform is available across four membership tiers: Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, and Graduate.
All three platforms allow you to e-file federal and state returns with $0 splits — meaning you keep 100% of every preparation fee you charge your clients.

In traditional service bureau arrangements, the bureau takes a percentage of every preparation fee you charge your clients — typically 15–40%. That is called a split.
At TMB Tax Bureau, we charge zero splits. You pay a flat seasonal membership fee for your software access and the bureau services. Every dollar you charge your tax clients stays with you. If you charge $300 to prepare a return, you keep $300. TMB does not touch it.
This model rewards high-volume preparers and removes the penalty that traditional bureaus impose as your business grows.
Yes. If you have your own tax software and want to connect it to TRMCRM for client management, marketing automation, and workflows — we offer software integration services for outside platforms.
You provide your API credentials, complete a short intake form, and we handle the entire technical setup on our end. A brief Zoom may be required depending on your software's requirements.
Integration setup pricing for outside software is different from the TMB Tax Software integration pricing. Contact us to discuss your specific platform and get a setup quote.
Yes. Bank products including refund advances are available through TMB's software partnerships. Bank product availability and specific products vary by software platform and by tax season.
Bank product approval is handled through our software provider's banking partner and requires a separate application process. Contact us to understand what is available for your specific plan and platform before promising bank products to your clients.
User and location limits depend on your membership tier:
Freshman — 10 licensed users, single EFIN
Sophomore — single office setup
Junior — up to 3 locations and EFINs, unlimited users and returns
Graduate — unlimited locations, unlimited users and returns
Need to add locations mid-season? Contact us and we will discuss upgrade options based on your growth.
2026 season enrollment is currently open. We recommend enrolling as early as possible to allow time for EFIN verification, account setup, software configuration, and onboarding training before tax season begins.
Late enrollments are accepted subject to availability but we cannot guarantee full setup support for last-minute applications. Do not wait until December to start this process.
TMB Tax Bureau membership is a full service bureau partnership — not just a software license. Depending on your tier, your membership includes:

TRMCRM Platform
TRMCRM (Tax Revenue Manager CRM) is the flagship marketing automation and client management platform of TMB Tax Bureau. It is a separate product from the tax preparation software.
Your tax software is your production tool — it prepares and files returns. TRMCRM is your business engine — it gets clients in the door, follows up with leads, manages your reputation, runs your marketing, and automates your workflows so your business runs even when you are not sitting at your desk.
Think of it this way: software helps you do the work. TRMCRM gets you the work to do.
The entry-level TRMCRM plan is currently in presale at $37/month. This is a limited-time introductory rate that will increase — lock it in now to be grandfathered at this price as long as your subscription remains active.
The $37 plan includes a temporary website, 3 business landing pages, basic marketing workflows, and the foundational tools to start getting clients in the door.
When the full platform launches, subscribers at the $37 rate will also receive access to the Revenue Marketing Manager Playbook — a 52-week fast-start guide with pre-recorded play-by-play instructions from TamikaMarie herself. That alone is worth more than the monthly fee.
Snaps are pre-built, industry-specific automation packages that plug into TRMCRM. Each Snap is a complete business setup — workflows, automations, forms, landing pages, email sequences, and client pipelines — pre-configured for your specific industry.
Instead of spending weeks building your CRM from scratch, you install a Snap and you are operational in a fraction of the time. We handle all the technical setup. You provide your business details and we configure it for your brand.

Snaps are available at subscriber pricing for TRMCRM members and at market rate for non-subscribers.
No. While TRMCRM was built with tax professionals in mind, the platform and our Snaps serve multiple industries. We currently have Snaps configured for tax professionals, credit repair, bookkeeping, payroll, notary and LSA, and compliance businesses including fingerprinting and drug testing.
The platform is fully customizable for any service-based business. If your industry is not listed, contact us — we can discuss whether a custom configuration is the right fit.
The Revenue Marketing Manager Playbook is a 52-week fast-start business growth guide created exclusively by TamikaMarie Smith. It is pre-recorded, play-by-play instruction covering every week of the tax business calendar — marketing campaigns, client retention, off-season revenue, and business development.
The Playbook is included exclusively with TRMCRM subscriptions. It is not sold anywhere else — not on Tax Pro University, not through any third party. It is a subscriber-only benefit.
Note: The 100 Days of Taxes Challenge — offered in connection with the RMM platform — is available for purchase separately through Tax Pro University.
The Partner tier is a $4,997 agency-level Snap designed for operators who want a fully configured, portable CRM build for their own agency or service bureau operations. It is the highest tier TMB offers and is not for everyone.
The Partner Snap includes tax pro workflows, intake forms, automations, template landing pages, email and SMS sequences, and an agency CRM page for tax software sales and tax pro onboarding. Everything beyond the core build is available as an upgrade.
Important: The Partner Snap is protected intellectual property. Partners are not authorized to resell or transfer the snapshot under any circumstances. This restriction is written into the Partner agreement. TMB will not provide support for unauthorized transfers.

Yes. The AI Employee is an industry-configured AI bot that handles inbound inquiries, answers FAQs, qualifies leads, books appointments, and manages routine client communications — 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Each AI Employee is configured for your brand with industry-standard FAQ responses specific to your business type. You provide your FAQ details, we handle the configuration and deployment.
The AI Employee is available as an add-on to any existing Snap or as a standalone add-on to your TRMCRM setup. It is also included in several Snaps — Credit, Notary, and Compliance.
The TRMCRM Marketplace is a standalone store where you can purchase Snaps, VA hour packages, AI bots, and automation tools. It is open to everyone — subscribers and non-subscribers alike.
The difference is pricing. Active TRMCRM subscribers receive exclusive subscriber pricing — significantly lower than the public rate — as a benefit of their monthly subscription. Non-subscribers pay full market rate.
This means one of the fastest ways to save money on your business tools is to become a TRMCRM subscriber first.
When you lock in your TRMCRM subscription at the current rate, that price is protected as long as your subscription remains active and in good standing. When TMB increases prices — and prices will increase before tax season — your rate stays where it is.
Important condition: Grandfather pricing is forfeited if your subscription is cancelled more than two times. After a second cancellation and reinstatement, your account re-enters at the current market rate at the time of reinstatement. There are no exceptions to this policy.
The simplest way to protect your pricing is to keep your subscription active year-round. Off-season dormant accounts are available at a reduced maintenance rate — ask us about that option before cancelling.
Independent Help Desk
The TMB Independent Help Desk is a hireable support service for tax professionals — available to anyone in the industry, not just TMB partners. If you have a software question, an IRS notice you do not understand, a workflow problem, or a compliance question, the Help Desk is available to assist.
This is not a call center. It is not a ticketing system that takes 72 hours to respond. It is direct, knowledgeable support from people who actually understand the tax industry and the platforms tax professionals use every day.
No. The Help Desk is independent by design. Any tax professional, ERO, or service bureau — regardless of their software platform or bureau affiliation — can hire the TMB Help Desk for support.
You do not need a TRMCRM subscription. You do not need a TMB software partnership. You just need a problem that needs solving.
The Help Desk is platform agnostic. Support is available for TaxSlayer Pro, OLT Pro, TaxWise Pro, and other major professional tax platforms. We also support questions related to IRS e-Services, EFIN issues, e-file rejections, CP notices, and general tax office operations.

Tax Pro University (TPU) is the official learning and resource store of TMB Tax Bureau — a separate property that houses self-paced courses, templates, Snaps, VA services, AI tools, and merch. It is not the same as the live coaching program.
The TMB Coaching page on this site covers live 1:1 and group coaching engagements with TamikaMarie directly. TPU handles self-paced education. Both are under the TMB Tax Bureau family but they serve different needs at different price points.

Yes. Rather than cancelling your TRMCRM subscription during the off-season, you can move your account to a dormant maintenance status at a reduced rate. This keeps your account active, protects your grandfather pricing, and ensures your automations and workflows stay in place for the following season.
Contact us before cancelling to discuss the dormant account option. Cancelling more than twice forfeits your grandfather pricing permanently.
TMB Tax Bureau accepts major credit and debit cards for all products and memberships. Payment plans may be available for certain products — contact us to discuss options. All transactions are processed securely.
Refund and cancellation policies vary by product type. Software season memberships, once activated and EFIN-verified, are generally non-refundable as the service has been rendered. Digital products including courses and templates are non-refundable once accessed.
